Meet The Team

Project Details

This collection of handcrafted rocket stoves showcases the versatility and performance of clay as a primary building material. Built using hand-made adobe bricks that are sun dried, each stove is carefully constructed by hand and finished with natural clay and lime plasters, depending on its location and use.

Rocket stoves are designed to maximize heat efficiency while minimizing fuel consumption, making them an effective, low-cost solution for cooking and heating. Through adobe construction and brick layering, these stoves demonstrate how earth-based materials can be shaped into durable, high-performing thermal systems.

Each rocket stove is inspired by the place in which it is built and carries the narrative of the hands that shaped it. Together, this collection reflects a fusion of functionality, craftsmanship, and storytelling—highlighting clay not only as a building medium, but as a living material that connects people, place, and purpose.
