Promoting Breadfruit
Breadfruit is a starchy fruit that grows on large, abundant trees throughout the tropics that provides a nutritious carbohydrate and can be easily ground into flour. Today, the majority of countries in the tropics import almost all their starches and flours.
We promote the use of Breadfruit as a regenerative staple crop that supports a wide range of ecosystem services, including healthy meals!
Distributing Breadfruit Flour
We work with everyday people, chefs, and restaurants to distribute and mainstream breadfruit flour as part of the culinary options available in the Caribbean. In partnership with Trees That Feed Foundation we distribute breadfruit flour for free or below market rates to individuals and organizations.
