Easy fried chicken using breadfruit flour

Breadfruit Fried Chicken



Using breadfruit flour as the batter, this gluten-free fried chicken is easy and adaptable. Use any spices and seasonings you'd like.


(These were freestyled so measurements are just approximates): 

- Chicken

- Breadfruit Flour  (1.5 cups or enough to coat the chicken fully)

- Seasonings: 

     - Paprika (1 tbsp)

     - Chili powder (1 tbsp) 

     - Black pepper (2 tsp) 

     - Tumeric powder (1 tsp)


  1. Mix the seasonings with the Breadfruit flour.

  2. Toss the chicken in the flour mix, then dip in water and toss again.

  3. Fry in hot oil and that's it!

We served ours with an amazing sweet and spicy garlic cashew sauce and wow! Delicious!
