Breadfruit Pigeon Peas Flatbread

This sumbission by Mary from Tree That Feed features an interesting addition: Pigeon Peas!



Ingredients:

  • Dry Pigeon (Gungo) Peas 1/2 cup

  • Breadfruit Flour 1/2 cup

  • Water 2 cups

  • A little Salt



Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in blender and blend. Soak for one hour and blend again. 

  2. Put a little coconut oil in a hot frying pan. Spoon the mixture into the frying pan. Make sure it’s a very thin layer. Cook then flip and cook on the other side. 

Enjoy as a soft taco, a wrap, or anything you can think of!
