This shortcake recipe combines wheat and breadfruit flour to create a light, golden treat.


  • All purpose flour 4oz

  • Butter (or vegan margarine) 4oz

  • Breadfruit flour 2oz

  • Sugar 2oz


  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius

  2. Put all ingredients in a bowl and rub together so it looks like breadcrumbs.

  3. Transfer to baking dish. Bake 15 - 20 mins or until golden brown.

  4. Score into 8 pieces. It will harden as it cools.
