Craving a savory, crispy treat? These breadfruit flour quail egg wraps are a delightful twist on traditional wraps, combining the earthy flavor of breadfruit with the rich taste of quail eggs.
Ingredients:
Breadfruit flour: 3 cups
Sugar: 2 tsp
Cinnamon powder: a dash
Salt: a pinch
Quail eggs (scrambled or fried)
Coconut oil (for frying)
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine breadfruit flour, sugar, cinnamon powder, and salt. Knead the mixture until smooth.
Divide the dough into smaller pieces, then roll each piece into a thin circle.
Add a portion of scrambled or fried quail eggs onto each dough circle. Fold the dough over the eggs and seal the edges.
Heat coconut oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry each wrapped dough until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Serve warm and enjoy these unique wraps as a snack or appetizer!
